Sounds like a good day! I've been busy for a while although I can't think of what I've been doing other than work. Right now I'm ill with a flu-like thing but other than that things are ok, other than the fact that it's still winter and everything is dull outside. Good to see you back here again and I hope you get better soon.

Today I started learning PHP. I've been fiddling with it for a long time, but only to modify code in blog themes. Now I started to actually LEARN it and it's been good so far!! I'm loving this! I hope you other people are doing well?

I'm leaving for a men's retreat today at 4:00pm. It's at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, OR, and will be my first retreat ever. There will be worship, brotherly love, fellowship, and paintball.
EDIT: I'll be back on Sunday.

Alright so I got back on Sunday from Men's Retreat. It was awesome!!! I was in a kind of brotherly fellowship that I have not experienced in years and it was relaxing and spiritually reinvigorating to have been surrounded by such godly men for three days. I made new friends and got to hear some stories that honestly touched my heart deeply. As for today, I went to Newport with my uncle and my cousin who's back for Spring Break. We went to the Hatfield Marine Science Center, Burger King, Walmart, and then just went to the beach to watch the sunset and huge waves we have been getting all week. It was nice.

Okay so I've been dealing with a lot of stress for the past several days (partially due to my phone carrier having issues with me renewing my plan, but there are other more pressing matters at hand in my pife at the moment, too), which my uncle helped to alleviate through taking a trip to Newport today. While there, we went to Walmart, which led me to the electronics section and to something I never thought I'd do, but did... ...I caved to the Dark Side and bought a PS4 along with a copy of Bloodborne. On a positive note, I'll be flying down to California on April 30th to see a live orchestra concert and will be looking into starting a job that I was offered in Depoe Bay, OR, which is roughly 10 miles south of where I currently live. And who knows. Now that I own a PS4, I might just have to eventually use it as an excuse to go visit some people I know who live in Michigan...

From what I hear, the PS4 is worth it to play Bloodborne... now prepare to be tortured in a Dark Souls style game! MWHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Also, get yourself here to Michigan!!!!

Also, get yourself here to Michigan!!!! Oh I can already tell you it is very torturous and quite unlike anything I have played before. I'm not even done with Central Yharnam (the first level) yet, but keeping in mind that not only is this my first ever Souls game but also that I have esotropia (which messes with my depth perception and sometimes causes me to see two of everything) coupled with the fact that I intentionally chose the worst character class available are probably not helping... I love torturing myself.

Took the bus to work today. It was a slow day and the first time I've used a transit system in Oregon for that matter. All in all, a pretty good day.

Came back to Oregon today after spending a week in California visiting family and friends. I seriously enjoyed myself, however most of the joy for me came last night. I went to my old community college to see a musical called "On Broadway" presented Placer Pops, which featured a full chorale and orchestra. A friend of mine was a member of the orchestra and played violin and during intermission was able to catch up with her about our goings-on over the past four years. She turned out to be engaged to someone, and I had the privilege of meeting her fiancé, who happened to be a really great guy. After the performance was over, I was actually invited to their wedding which is next month. I will be going, Lord willing.
In short, I had a spectacular time and am so thankful for having went on this trip as it was a much-needed break from the monotony of my everyday life. Last night alone has revitalized my spirit and outlook on my future. Things don't seem as gloom, and I feel a renewed desire to immerse myself in God's Word and in prayer with Him and fellow believers after a long absence from each of these things.
Praise the Lord!
